A Decade of Partnership, Impact, and Music

Since 2015, RCAM and the UK-registered charity Brass for Africa have been working together to transform lives through the power of music.

Since 2015, RCAM and the UK-registered charity Brass for Africa have been working together to transform lives through the power of music.

Today, Brass for Africa supports nearly 3,000 disadvantaged young people every week across Uganda, Rwanda, and Liberia. Through brass music, they create meaningful change, improving outcomes in health, education, and equality, and empowering young people to build brighter futures.
We are incredibly proud to have six former Brass for Africa musicians from Uganda now serving in RCAM, a true testament to the life-changing impact of music and this partnership.

Instruments are the lifeblood of their programmes.
While all instruments are generously donated, the cost of shipping them to Africa is significant, limiting how many can reach the young people who need them.

Last year, RCAM members set an ambitious goal to raise £5,500 to cover shipping costs for 100 instruments.
Thanks to your generosity, we’ve already raised an incredible £2,805 — funding the imminent shipment of 51 instruments!

Every instrument shipped means opportunity, confidence, education, and hope.

If you’d like to help us reach our goal and send even more instruments where they’re needed most visit
